More than five million dirhams have been collected by UNICEF Morocco by selling New Year’s cards and calendars for 2004-2005. Some of the money was also raised by direct donations. These figures were announced in a press conference in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
UNICEF has been working with Morocco since Depuis 1957, and the international aid organization and the Moroccan each paid the other a debt of gratitude and expressed the hope that they can carry on mutual cooperation for the future.
