Denmark’s F.L.Smidth company has been awarded an equipment contract for Iran’s first 5,000 tons per day (tpd) clinker production line. The international tender process has lasted over a year.
Kangan Bartar Cement, a privately held Iranian company, is developing the greenfield plant project which is set to become Iran’s single largest kiln. F.L.Smidth is a supplier of turnkey cement plants, plant installations, machinery, spare parts, control systems as well as know-how, services and training. — (menareport.com)
