France to provide Egypt $176 million in aid

The French Ambassador to Cairo has recently announced that France will provide Egypt with €200 million ($176 million) in grants and economic assistance over the course of the year 2002. This latest aid program was approved within the framework a broader initiative supporting the Egyptian economy in overcoming the impact of the events of September 11, reported Al-Ahram.
