Le Méridien’s Passport Plus promotion has been extended until May 31, 2003, and guests staying at Le Méridien Al-Aqah Beach Resort now qualify for additional nights’ accommodation free of charge, depending on the length of their stay, according to a company press release.

Hotel manager, Patrick Antaki, said the promotion was aimed at encouraging United Arab Emirates (UAE) residents to take a short-break during the spring period and would allow them to discover the newest jewel on the Indian Ocean.

Current rates are from 350 Emirati dirhams single or double occupancy for a standard room during the week and Dh400 during the weekend, but now those who stay for two nights are entitled to a complimentary third night.

The promotion is available for any length of stay, with those staying for four nights only paying for three, for example, while any guest in the hotel for six nights will pay for just four nights’ accommodation.

In addition, exclusive rooms and suites on the Royal Club floor have also been included in the deal, with rates of Dh600 double occupancy during the week or Dh700 on Wednesday and Thursday, and again free nights’ according to length of stay.

A joint venture between Emirates airline and the Hotel & Resort Investment Company, Le Méridien Al-Aqah Beach Resort is located on the Indian Ocean, 90 minutes’ drive from Dubai.
