Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) recently conducted two seminars in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to discuss emerging market trends, manageability and scalability. “Mobilty and Business Critical Computing have been defined as the significant market trends of the future, worldwide. Hence FSC feels it is important to educate and inform the Information Technology (IT)-related decision makers and senior executives about the changing technologies in these areas,” said Jacquie Carson, director of Sales & Marketing at FSC Gulf Region.
“Increased use of Information Technology (IT) has brought drastic changes in the manner in which organizations conduct their businesses. With more and more businesses adopting electronic means of transaction, the “e” has begun to dominate our lives both in the professional and personal sector,” said Gernot Fels, head of Information and Consulting at FSC.
“Accordingly we need to rethink our business strategies and develop technologies that will include scalable modules that allow for greater manageability and integration options while offering better performance,” he added.
FSC was founded in October 1999 as a joint venture of Fujitsu Ltd and Siemens AG and operates in markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based in Maarssen, Netherlands, FSC’s products are assembled and built to order at the manufacturing facilities situated in Augsburg, Paderborn and Sömmerda in Germany. FSC product portfolios includes Notebooks, PCs, workstations, Intel- and Unix-based servers, mainframes and storage solutions. — (menareport.com)
