Chief Designer for Giordano International Garrett Bennett unveiled the brand's new summer collection for the Middle East at a media preview. Speaking of the new collection, Bennett who flew in from Giordano's headquarters in Hong Kong said: “Color, style and detail are three key elements of Giordano's collections. With that in mind, our clothing transcends culture, age and status. However, for each region, we have certain considerations that we need to take into account, and for the Middle East climate is the most important.”

For a sporty look, Giordano has launched a range of tank t-shirts, with contrast piping, which can be teamed with matching hood jackets and track pants. The clean, revitalising colour scheme of white, red, navy and grey lends the collection a bold feel, while the use of Lycra will provide more comfort and ease of movement.

Those looking for a more relaxed look can turn to a new collection of jeans, loose fit cargo pants or flat front twill khakis, as well as three-quarter length cotton shorts and linen-cotton drawstring pants, in navy and khaki. The jeans and khakis can be matched with a range of jersey t-shirts with prints, stripes or solid colors.

The new denim collection is available in two colors; indigo—for both men and women in either straight fit or boot cut, while those looking for darker denim can choose from a loose fit for men and boot cut for women.

Checks and plaids are also a hot ticket item in this summer's collection. Giordano's new Lycra cotton shirts for women come with the option of three- quarter length sleeves in a green and navy plaid, and solid colors of white or khaki. Men can choose from short or long sleeve shirts in khaki and blue checks, and Lycra solid twills in khaki or olive.
