ALBAWABA - Invites posted online by the Verge and tech Youtuber Marques Brownlee reveal that Google will present improvements to its Pixel smartphones and the Android operating system, along with artificial intelligence technologies, during a special “Made by Google” event on August 13.
The invite image for the event states that it will take place at Google's Mountain View headquarters, with a keynote speech starting at 10 am PT (5 pm GMT) and a hands-on product demo afterwards.
The words "Launch is coming" and "Don't miss the magic" appear on a new teaser page on the Google Store, with a video showcasing the edges of the Pixel 9 series, Google event uses the suffix "IX" in the video to validate the name, and the page's URL includes the term "google_pixel_9_pro" as a hint.
It is anticipated that the Pixel 9 Pro will be coming in two sizes alongside the basic Pixel 9 model, according to 9to5Android, which adds that while Google is finally launching a smaller flagship, the much-rumored "XL" edition is expected to have the same size as the current Pro.
A Pixel 9 Pro Fold is also expected to arrive at the event alongside a rumored 41mm and 45mm Pixel Watch 3 matching the Apple Watch Series 9, as well as new Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones.
The event will start on 10 am PT (5 pm GMT) August 13, and will be live broadcasted on Google’s channels.
