A dispute over who gave permission for a multi-storey building in a non-commercial area in Manama escalated Tuesday. According to GDN, a government official failed to appear before Manama Municipal Council to explain his decision.
The five-storey apartment and commercial building is being constructed near the Tylos Hotel in Naim, which is an area classified as non-commercial and with a three-storey limit for new buildings.
