Customers flying Gulf Air from Dubai International Airport can now prepare for their journey in luxury following the re-opening of the airline’s dedicated lounge. Situated next to gate 24 in the Sheikh Rashid Terminal, the lounge offers customers 265 square meters of space away from the hustle and bustle, providing a pleasant ambience for either meetings with business partners, time for relaxation, or peace and quiet to catch up on work.
Gulf Air is currently in talks with Dubai Civil Aviation to ensure that all GF departures are from the gates located close to the lounge. ”Being able to offer an enhanced dedicated lounge in Dubai is a vast service improvement especially for our premium passengers and Silver and Gold Falcon Frequent Flyers. In conjunction with an excellent on-board product provided on our long haul routes via Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Muscat, we are confident that this combination will allow us to serve the needs of our First and Business Class customers as well as Business Travelers”, commented Gulf Air’s A K Nizar, Manager Dubai.
Gulf Air was founded in 1950. Today, it is owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is the only pan Gulf carrier in the region. The airline’s network stretches from Europe to Asia and covers 43 cities in 32 countries. The fleet is one of the most modern in the Middle East and comprises 30 aircraft. The airline is in its first year of a three-year strategic recovery program. — (menareport.com)
