Hertz United Arab Emirates (UAE) launched a new short-term car rental service for customers needing a vehicle, while their own car is off the road for repairs or maintenance. Motorists whose car is to be serviced within the same day can take advantage of rental rates starting at 69 Emirati dirhams ($18.8) for Group A vehicles rented over an eight-hour period.
The new service is available from Hertz counters set up at the Al-Futtaim Motors workshop in the Ramoul district of Dubai and at the Al-Futtaim Motors workshop and Trading Enterprises workshop in Sharjah.
“The service is available to customers using any auto repair center and its the first step towards introducing Hertz service counters at all major auto workshops across the UAE.” said Nitin Sapre, Hertz sales and marketing manager for Hertz UAE. The operating of the new auto workshop locations means that Hertz UAE now has 12 car rental branches in the Emirates.
Hertz is the world’s largest vehicle rental company and operates from over 7,000 locations in 150 countries. In the Middle East, Hertz is represented by franchise operations in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Yemen and by general sales agents in Bahrain and Saudi. — (menareport.com)
