The first batch of 456 houses built at a cost of BD11 million in East Busaiteen (west of the airport) will be distributed on December 11. According to Bahrain's Housing Ministry assistant under-secretary for housing and management, Mohammed Khalil Al Sayed, the homes are part of 1,070 houses being built under a BD25 million project in Busaiteen.
"Construction of the remaining 614 units, at a cost of BD14m, will begin later this month in West Busaiteen (Bandar Al Seef)," he was quoted as saying by the GDN.
