Huge tourism construction project in Taif

One of the largest tourism construction projects in Saudi Arabia is set to be launched in the new future in the kingdom’s city of Taif, at an estimated cost of 10 billion Saudi riyals (Dh9.79 billion).

 

The proposed project will involve the construction of an international airport, a luxury hotel in the shape of an oval, six separate districts carrying the names of the late Saudi kings and several public parks and recreational facilities.

 

Other impressive features will also be featured in the new project, including the world’s largest minaret, according to Gulf News.

 

King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia is expected to kick off the Taif project in during an upcoming visit to the city.
