Imdaad, Dubai World’s advanced facility management service provider, unveiled its latest division -- Imdaad Power – set up to address temporary power requirements for projects and industries. The launch of the new division is aimed at enhancing the package of services Imdaad provides to projects in the field of engineering maintenance and consultations in facility and waste management.
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, Chief Executive Officer of Imdaad, said: “The new division has been set up in response to the increasing demand for power at construction sites in the wake of the booming developments. New urban communities and offshore developments are coming up rapidly and many of these sites have no access to power supply or infrastructure.
“Imdaad Power provides a wide range of services, which primarily include the rental of equipment required for temporary generation of electricity with sufficient capacity to ensure uninterrupted work at the site. These services also constitute a practical alternative to the regular grid providing power to the residential, industrial or recreational complexes in the event of any emergency blackout until the grid is repaired and reinstated. This division increases Imdaad’s capability to meet the increasing demand for facility management services.”
The demand for temporary power services has seen a remarkable increase over the past few years thanks to the rapid urban development in the region. Imdaad is committed to playing a leading role in providing its clients with advanced alternative power solutions at the projects it supervises. Through the new Power division the service provider aims to achieve the highest standards of excellence in its operational capabilities.
The sizes of the generators provided by Imdaad will range from small diesel units to big containerised power units starting with 30Kva to 1250Kva with sound attenuated enclosures for onboard or dock side needs with in the shipping industry.
