Indian bank offers expatriates in Gulf access to housing loans

India’s Syndicate Bank, with a little over 66 per cent government shareholding, has said expatriate Indians in the Gulf region could easily access its housing loans. According to the Peninsula, the bank presently has 1,935 branches scattered across India and the network may soon reach 2,000. This was disclosed Monday by Syndicate Bank's visiting chairman and managing director, N Kantha Kumar, at a news conference held in Qatar.
