Indian company gets largest single order for commercial vehicles from Iraq

The Indian company Hinduja Group's flagship, Ashok Leyland, is implementing an order to supply 3322 trucks to Iraq, the largest single order it has secured so far for commercial vehicles.


Ashok Leyland General Manager (exports), Ram Cowsik, was quoted as saying by <i>Khaleej Times</i>, that the company which is already present in many markets in the Middle East and Africa  is making an aggressive bid to make forays into the military sector as well. He was speaking at the Middle East's biggest arms expo held in Abu Dhabi.
