Inter-Arab private investments amount to $1 billion

The inter-Arab private investments amounted to $1 billion last year, a senior official from the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries (GUCCIAAC), has said. The GUCCIAAC secretary general, Dr Ilayas Ghatoos, conveyed that there was a lot of liquidity in the region, Bahrain Tribune reported. An upcoming conference will discuss this issue.

 

Titled ‘Receiving Private Investment and Means of Promotion’, the conference and exhibition would attract businessmen, investors, policy makers, bankers and traders. The event will be held on March 6 and 7 in Bahrain.
