ALBAWABA - Apple's recent launch of the iPhone 15 series has been met with reports from users experiencing overheating issues, with some claiming temperatures exceeding 38 degrees Celsius.

Responding to these concerns, Apple issued a statement attributing the elevated heat levels to heightened background activity during the initial days following device setup or restoration.

Numerous users took to social media and reached out to Apple's support, expressing discomfort due to the unusual overheating emitted by the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

Some individuals even shared photographs of thermometer readings indicating temperatures surpassing 38°C on their iPhones.

Apple has clarified that these recent complaints stem from software and application-related glitches. The company reassured users that these issues will be promptly resolved through forthcoming software updates.

Explaining the situation, Apple stated that the device may overheat during its initial days of use due to increased background activity. This phenomenon is linked to a bug found in the latest iOS 17 software, exacerbated by excessive load from select third-party applications.

Apple emphasized that the heating problem does not relate to the hardware of the iPhone 15 Pro series. Instead, the new design is said to enhance heat dissipation compared to previous stainless steel devices.

Apple has affirmed that this issue poses no security risks and will not affect the long-term performance of the iPhone. Fixes for the heating problem are currently in the process of being released.

For iPhone 15 users concerned about the issue, relief is expected to arrive soon as Apple works diligently to address these heating concerns.
