Iran exported over $105 million of clothing in the first three quarters of the current Iranian year (started March 21), the Customs Administration reported on Wednesday. The figure is 10.4 percent higher compared to the same period last year, it added, according to Irna.
Over 84.5 percent of the value of exports was realized with shipments to Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, the report said.
Iran non-oil exports are set to surpass US$8.5 billion dollars in value by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20,2006). It said the volume of goods exported in the current year shows a 24 percent boost compared to the figure released in the previous year.
