Iran-Japan trade exchange amounts to US$9.8 billion

Iran and Japan trade volume amounts to US$9.8 billion, Iranian Ambassador to Japan, Mohsen Talaii, revealed on Monday. Japan is the third largest importer of Iran’s industrial and mineral products. “There has been a logical growth in the volume of Iran’s exports to Japan during the past year,” he said.

 

According to him, petrochemicals constitute the main bulk of Iran’s industrial and mineral products exported to Japan in the past year. He further explained that, last year, the commodities’ exports increased by eight percent and hit US$ 410 million dollars.

 

Iran exports 637,000 barrels of oil per day to Japan.
