A refinery is to be set up in the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas with a daily capacity 360,000 barrels of condensed gases obtained from South Pars field.
The official in charge of implementing the project Ali Haj-Rasuliha said in Bandar Abbas on Saturday that the refinery would be completed in two phases at a cost of $25 million.
According to IRNA, Haj-Rasuliha said in the first stage the refinery would yield 240,000 barrels a day of condensed gas as of 2008.
The refinery will turn half the condensed gases into gasoline and the rest to jet fuel, kerosene, gasoil and liquid gas, he conveyed. (menareport.com)
