With the new assembly line for ITM 399 in service, the annual output of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Co. (ITMC) will reach 60,000 units.
Deputy production manager of the company, Asqar Noor Ayeen told ISNA on Monday that the line is much similar to that of ITM 285 model.
The management decided to raise the company’s daily output to 120 machines a day, Noor Ayeen stated, adding it can even reach a higher record if requirements are provided on time.
“We had planned to manufacture 12 thousand tractors in the second half of the year (started September 22nd),” he said. The project requires the factory to employ 300 new workers.
The company’s output in comparison with the corresponding period last year indicates 4% growth.
“Next year, we’ll try to reach a daily output of 240 tractors,” Noor Ayeen was quoted as saying. (menareport.com)
