Iranian exports of industrial and petrochemical products hit $1.28 billion

Iran exported $1.28 billion worth of industrial and petrochemical products in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 20). 

 

A report issued by the public relations department of Iran's Customs Administration, and quoted by Irna, said that iron and steel, gas condensates, aluminum, light naphtha and different types of tar account for 33 percent of the industrial and petrochemical products exported over the said period. 

 

Meanwhile, a variety of industrial goods worth $1.281 billion were exported during the said period, of which $423 million was accounted for by the five items mentioned above. 

 

A 21 percent rise was posted in the value of industrial and petrochemical products exported over the period versus the corresponding figure last year. (menareport.com)
