According to the <i>Al-Sabaah</i> newspaper, the General Establishment for Grain Trading, Iraq, called local, Arab and international companies to bid for importing and supplying Iraq with 150,000 tons of white American wheat. The Establishment also reported that 4 ships of wheat are currently being downloaded in the Iraqi ports with 18,316 tons of cargo. It also reported that 2 ships of rice are currently being downloaded in the Iraqi ports with 624,425 tons of cargo.
The establishment also reported that its subsidiaries are expected to soon download two ships of Australian wheat with an 88,000 tons cargo.
