The department of general traffic in Iraq has set the beginning of June 2005 as the starting point to provide small cars owners with new license plates. A source at the department has indicated that Iraqi experts were sent to Germany in order to learn the needed skills and knowledge to construct a complete factory to produce these plates.The source added , according to Alfourat newspaper, that the experts will first submit the factory's plans to the German company. He disclosed that the color of the digits on the new plates will be orange.
