Iraqi businessmen get Jordanian passports

According to <i>Alkhaleej</i>, the chairman of Iraqi companies
union, Abbas Bayan Alebidi announced that the Jordanian government gave its consent to grant Iraqi businessmen, executives and general mangers the
right to hold a Jordan passport for 5 years in order to facilitate
their travel to all countries to follow their commercial activities.

Alebidi said that a delegation from the union met the Jordanian king at
the beginning of the month and discussed problems faced by Iraq
business persons.

As a result, the Jordanian authorities have decided that a Jordanian
passport will be granted to Iraqi business men who meet certain
requirements. In addition,  Iraqi businessmen will be granted with a special
identity card to facilitate their passage at airports.
