IT training for Iraqis

The Iraqi ministry of high education and scientific research sent 40 employees to a special two week course to get the international license for the use of different computer programs. The course is to be held at the Royal Scientific Association in Jordan with the assistance of UNESCO.

 

The course will focus on the main concepts of information technology, operating systems, file management and the use of software. Dr. Khaled Cahali, the vice president of the association, mentioned that this is the third course of its kind.

The course is intended to increase the skills of Iraqis, especially those who are employed in the fields of health, water and electronics. The participants will be required to pass an international examination and the ones who succeed will be granted an international certificate issued by UNESCO.
