International retailer of electronics and general merchandise Jacky's has announced a 102 percent increase in sales during the seven-day GITEX Shopper event with over 50,000 visitors visiting their stand.
Its second year at GITEX Shopper, Jacky's participation was four times larger than the previous year. With products ranging from laptops to television sets and their accessories and quality brands such as HP Compaq, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Olympus, shoppers were enthusiastic about the selection of products available to them.
This year, computers with higher specifications such as Pentium Centrino Processors did well and tablet PCs were in demand, as were the latest mobiles with cameras and PDAs. Peripheral and all-in-one machines too found great demand amongst customers.
This year, most of the shoppers were from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other Arab States which included visitors from Egypt, Jordan and Syria. — (menareport.com)
