Japan and Morocco sign cooperation agreement

The Japanese Agency for Overseas Development and the Moroccan government singed an agreement on implementing a technical research project for improving health care for mothers in rural areas, according to the Moroccan economics newspaper L’Econmoiste

 

The regions to benefit include Fès-Boulmane, Meknès-Tafilalet and Guelmim-Essmara. The project is a mixture of education and training and supplying qualified personnel. The provinces of Ifrane and Séfrou are to be pilot projects. The aim is for the program to run for three years at a cost of some 1.290 billion Yen. (albawaba.com)
