Jordanian and Japanese governments concluded Monday memos of exchange under which Japan granted JD 6.5 million to Jordan.
Jordan's Minister of Planning and Cooperation Bassam Awadallah signed the agreement for Jordan and Japanese Ambassador to Amman Koichi Obata signed for Japan, Petra reported.
The memos of exchange came within the allocation of
Japanese general grants program to purchase equipment and necessary furnishers for the Royal Scientific Society(RSS) project of improving and upgrading of competitiveness of industrial sector.
Japan offered $100 million as an emergency grant to Jordan
last year within the Japanese assistance to the kingdom to ease the negative impacts of war on Iraq on Jordan's economy. (menareport.com)
