Jordan launches $30 million professional training program

In an attempt to fight poverty and unemployment, the Jordanian government will launch a $21 million Jordanian Dinar ($30 million) professional training program in 2002, reported Al-Ittihad. The program will train individuals and provide up to 20,000 permanent work positions for its participants. During the program, each trainee will receive a monthly salary of JD 80. — (menareport.com)
