Jordan's MobileCom has recently announced the launch of SMS Call Back service which allows prepaid subscribers to call their friends and family no matter where they are.
The subscriber can send an SMS containing the number he/she wishes to call to 1555 (ex.: +962 77 123456), and he/she will be to the person he/she is trying to reach. The subscriber can use this service while he/she is roaming to call home, internationally, or the numbers in the country he/she is visiting and talk without interruptions as in any normal phone call.
The SMS should only consist of the number you wish to call. The message is then routed from the existing SMS system in MobileCom's network to the Call Back application server therefore connecting both numbers in a phone call.
Mr. Marwan Muheisen, MobileCom Products and Services manager said that "This service is the ultimate solution for the roaming prepaid subscribers in the Gulf area where they face many challenges in making calls. The service makes their line connections easier in case lines were busy as they are during occasions like the Haj and Omra.” He also added "We still have more advanced services coming through the pipeline and meeting customer's expectation and satisfaction".
MobileCom CEO Mr. Mickael Ghossein said in this regard: "As an exclusive provider to this service, we have come up with the ultimate and best solution for our subscribers in order to make their calls while roaming anywhere in the world and on any network".
