Turkey’s CIMSA Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret has awarded Germany’s KHD Humboldt Wedag a contract to increase the capacity of its existing No. 2 tube mill. The new system is expected to come on stream by 2005.
The contract includes the engineering, supply of equipment and supervision for the mill. KHD will increase the mill’s production by 160 percent with the installation of a roller press RP 20-170/180, a high efficiency separator and ROLCOX automation system, stated a press release. The mill’s capacity currently stand’s at 95 tons of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) per hour.
KHD Humboldt Wedag is active in the fields of cement technology, mineral processing technology and aluminum technology. The scope of the company’s services includes feasibility studies, raw material testing, financing concepts, erection and commissioning, personnel training, pre-and after sales services. — (menareport.com)
