KnowledgeView recently announced that it has completed the implementation of its new content management system for CNN's Arabic news web site. The framework provides technical expertise and an editorial system for CNN's first Middle East Bureau at Dubai's Media City, confirmed a press release. The system will classify and export published articles to the CNN publishing servers in Atlanta via an automated system.

The company has previously provided CNN.com with software programs that include support for the main functional areas. The database backed content management allows text articles, photos or graphics to reside in a database, with a comprehensive article metadata including fields for classification, priority, usage, ownership, language and editorial history. The content collection software acquires text, photo or graphics from news agencies and CNN sources.

KnowledgeView, established in 1995 in the United Kingdom (UK) with wholly owned companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon and the United States, is a technology developer that serves the content management, syndication and content trading needs of various enterprises and web communities. It’s flagship products include RAPID Publish and SyndigitalTM. — (menareport.com)
