Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) announced Saturday October 20 that it was canceling flights to London and Bombay while reducing those to Delhi throughout October and November.
A KAC statement said Sunday and Monday flights to London would be cancelled between October 28 and November 25. Similarly, Saturday and Sunday flights to Bombay would be cancelled between October 20 and November 21, and Tuesday and Wednesday flights cut to the same destination between October 23 and November 27.
The statement also said it was reducing Saturday and Sunday flights to Delhi between October 20 and November 24. It said the flight schedule for December would remain the same until further notice. KAC reduced flights to some Arab destinations earlier this month while canceling flights to Islamabad and Lahore due to the international situation.
Public relations manager Adel Buresli said KAC was cutting down on a number of flights throughout October due to the rise in operational costs and world events in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks in New York and Washington. — (AFP, Kuwait City)
