The Ministry of Interior in its continued efforts to cleanse the country of immoral acts, organized surprise inspection campaigns against a number of massage institutes in Hawally because these outlets allowed immoral acts under the cover of massage services, reports Al-Rai daily.

The campaign resulted in the arrest of a Kuwaiti and 14 transvestites – 11 Filipinos, 2 Thais and an Egyptian. The daily quoting security sources said legal action has been initiated against the owners of these massage parlors. During interrogation, all the suspects have admitted to the charges slapped against them. They have been referred to the concerned authorities to prepare their deportation from the country.
