The Egyptian Ministry of Labor and Immigration recently allocated 19 million Egyptian pounds ($4.46 million) for the launching of several new investment projects, according to Labor Minister Ahmad Amawy, reported Al-Ahra.
The proposed initiatives include the construction of 14 vocational centers and modernizing labor offices in various districts throughout Egypt. The minister added that funding would also be used to upgrade the technology expertise of Egyptian labor in order to improve productivity.
Safety mechanisms are also to be installed in local industrial facilities with the use of these funds, in order to check work-related injuries. — (Mena Report)
