The total value of land transactions in Dubai during the past two days amounted to Dhs290.89 millions million, of which sales exceeded Dhs76 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs215.19 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 13 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the tow days, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Murqabat that was sold for Dhs30 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Lehbab acquired for the sum of Dhs11 million and another in Al Satwa for Dhs9 million
The Hor Al Anz area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 2 transactions. Jumeria First followed it with 2 sales.
During the period, Al Murqabat recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs30 million, followed by the Lehbab area, Dhs11 million, and Al Satwa area, Dhs9 million.
The biggest area sold was the 505788 sq ft in the Lehbab area, which went for Dhs11 million. A 18507 sq ft plot in the Al Satwa Area was acquired for Dhs9 million, while 15000 sq ft of Nad Al Hamar was disposed of for Dhs1.62 million.
During the period under review 9 mortgages worth Dhs193.94 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs100 million for an area at Al Khabeesi. There was another for Dhs30 million on an area in Al Garhoud and a further sum of Dhs30 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Murqabat .
