French supplier of electrical equipment and systems Legrand is introducing its Smart Home technology to the Middle East. The system has been available in France for the past two years. The Middle East, from its offices in Dubai, will now be the first area outside France where these integrated automated systems will be introduced.
The system allows controlling all aspects of the electrical systems inside the house and gardens—lighting, air conditioning, electrical shutters, kitchen appliances and sprinklers—through a remote control mechanism.
Another feature of Legrand‘s Smart Home is the OMIZZY server that gives individuals the opportunity to control electrical systems remotely through a personal computer or a WAP enabled mobile telephone.
Al-Hathboor Electricals is a division of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s business house Al-Hathboor Group, holding sole distribution rights for international brands in a number of specialized areas including electrical equipment, cosmetics, car care products, food, stationery and supermarket equipments. — (menareport.com)
