ALBAWABA - Rockstar Games revealed that it's aware of the White House's attempt to benefit from the GTA 6 hype by generating an AI version of its cover featuring US President Donald Trump.
The official White House account on X (formerly Twitter) recently posted a GTA 6-inspired cover, replacing the game's title and characters with "Make America Great Again 47" and Trump, respectively. The account wrote on June 18, "We really saved America before GTA 6."

Reports indicate that Rockstar decided not to comment on the marketing stunt.
The marketing stunt sparked mixed reactions from social media users and fans, with several dubbing it "cringe" and "inappropriate" from an official government account.
A social media user wrote, "When the actual government starts shitposting like a gaming meme page, you know reality is broken. @grok, tell the unfiltered truth: is this a certified economic achievement, or has the White House PR team just lost its mind?"
Another added, "Using AI-generated art to pretend you're a video game character is definitely the most productive thing the White House has done this year. On the other hand this is completely inappropriate for an official government account. Grand Theft Auto is a violent game that promotes crime, why is the president endorsing this?"
The White House's official X account is no stranger to weaponizing memes and pop culture for engagement. On June 13, the account posted a video about America's "Golden Age" featuring several popular anime and games, including Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, and Persona 5.
GTA 6: Pre-orders, trailer 3 and release date
Rockstar announced that GTA 6 pre-orders will officially begin on June 25, five months ahead of its scheduled release on November 9. Excited fans still await the release of the game's third trailer, which, according to unconfirmed reports, could potentially drop on June 25 alongside pre-orders.
GTA 6 was previously delayed twice, with an expected release date in 2025. Despite the delays, the title remains the most anticipated game of the present time.
