Korean digital manufacturer LG Electronics has expanded its Middle East product range with the introduction of two new MP3 players from its Soul Digital range. Both players are portable palm sized devices, using flash memory cards to store and playback CD quality sound. Each LG MP3 player comes with earphones; a carry case, USB cable, encoding cable, batteries and Internet download software.

“The supplied LG MP3 Explorer software and an Internet connection, lets users legally download thousands of MP3 files from the world-wide-web and transfer them onto the LG MP3 players,” said B. H. Ahn, Digital Products manager, LG Electronics Gulf FZE.

“Through the Net, it is possible to buy and download music at a fraction of CD prices through MP3 Internet providers ‘Try-and-Buy’ initiatives. One huge advantage of MP3 is the ability to buy one song at a time. No more buying a whole CD for the one or two songs you want,” he added. In the UAE, LG MP3 players are available from Al-Sayegh Brothers and electronics stores. — (menareport.com)
