Mobile telecoms operators from across the Middle East and Asia are invited to attend a two-day seminar and workshop hosted by Logica, the global solutions company and supplier of mobile messaging and mobile payments, according to a company press release.

The industry-specific event, taking place May 13-15 in Dubai, will feature firsthand insight into the latest mobile telecoms technologies, including multimedia messaging and unified payments, as well as systems integration.

Delegates at the upcoming Logica mobile telecoms event will have the opportunity to attend more than 25 live sessions, including customer case studies and workshops in the areas of next generation networks, intelligent messaging, mobile marketing and support services. The seminar will also include opportunities for attendees to network with peers and share their experiences in implementing the latest telecoms technologies.

“The mobile telecoms industry in the Middle East is entering a period of dramatic change, raising the complexity, growth potential and risk faced by operators here. In this shifting market environment, the operators who will thrive are the ones best able to create a set of services, technologies, content and revenue models that enable flexibility, innovation, growth and cost-effectiveness,” stated Derek Kemp, Logica’s CEO for the Middle East.

To represent the Middle East’s telecoms sector, Logica has invited key representatives from its regional clients, including Batelco in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Fastlink in Jordan, MTCG in Kuwait, LibanCell in Lebanon, OmanTel in Oman, STC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Click Vodafone in Egypt. Decision-makers from the leading mobile operators in the Asia Pacific region are also expected to attend the Logica event in Dubai.
