The MashreqMillionaire draw held on 15 July saw a total of 6.5 million Emirati dirhams ($1.7 million) being won by 1,102 holders of Mashreqbank’s savings certificates, including Dh 3.5 million won by El Fadiel Babiker Musa Ahmed from Sudan and one million dirhams won by Mohammed Iqbal Fazal of Pakistan.
At the draw, carried out under the supervision of the Department of Economic Development there were also 100 prizes of Dh 10,000 and 1,000 winners of Dh1,000. The winning savings certificate numbers have all been published in leading United Arab Emirates (UAE) newspapers and listed on posters in Mashreqbank branches.
This was the largest raffle draw ever held in the UAE and Mashreqbank plans to continue having such special promotions as well as routine draws that are held on the first and fifteenth of every month. — (menareport.com)
