The Emirate Bank Group’s 24-hour banking channel, meBANK has opened a branch in Abu Dhabi, making it the first retail branch of meBANK outside of Dubai. The new location features an automated teller machine (ATM), PC terminal and Plasma screen and brings the total number of expected new branches to open over the next few weeks to seven, whilst bringing the running total of active meBANK branches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to 17.

As well as the Abu Dhabi branch, meBANK has recently opened branches in Dubai Ports and Customs and the Dubai Department of Immigration. The bank has also revealed plans to open a branch in Saudi Arabia, responding to the demand from customers in the Kingdom.

Established in 2001, meBANK enables UAE residents and non-residents to engage in banking transactions via any PC connected to the internet or at meBANK outlets. Providing a full range of products and services, which are accessible to all meBANK customers, the bank’s offerings fall under accounts, personal loans and car loans. — (menareport.com)
