A new report issued lately indicates that a sum of 834 million Iraqi Dinar have been invested in a huge project to improve and widen the medical services in Basra.
The project included reconstruction and repair works in infrastructure in various locations across the district. <i>Al-Sabah</i> reported that the list of medical facilities that were part of this reconstruction projects includes hospitals (the former military hospital, Al-Fiah, Al-Mwany hospital and the Zubair hospital), health clinics (the Rabat center for first aid) and professional training institutes, in the field of medicine, such as nursing schools.
