Recent advances in digital technology are spurring the already rapidly developing audio industry in the Middle East according to leading German commercial loudspeaker producer, ic-Audio.
The loudspeaker specialist says the recent surge in infrastructure spending is having a knock on effect within the Middle East’s audio industry. “There are a number of large and interesting projects happening within the region. We see the sector continuing its rapid development in line with the overall growth of the region,” said CEO of ic-Audio, Heinz Pfannenschmidt.
According to Pfannenschmidt the region is taking the digital path. “As a company we have representation in over 30 countries, and like other regions, the Middle East is also taking the digital path,” he said.
ic-Audio, which has a number of distributorships across the region, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), intends to launch a new line of ceiling speakers next year when it exhibits at the inaugural Pro Audio Light Middle East (PALME) exhibition, the three-day event to be held at Dubai International Exhibition Center from February 16-18, 2003. — (menareport.com)
