Middle East gas reserves up

A recently published economic study in Riyadh on the future of gas consumption in the Arab World anticipates substantial growth in the sector in terms of existing gas reserves, gas production and gas consumption, reported Al-Bayan . The study predicts the volume of the confirmed gas reserves in the Arab World to double from nine trillion cubic meters to 28.5 trillions cubic meters in the near future. 24 percent of the gas reserves are located in Qatar, 19.7 percent in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), 17.6 percent in Saudi Arabia and 12.8 percent in Algeria. — (menareport.com)
