Egypt's Misr Information Services and Trading (MIST) has signed a contract with the American Intex X Technologies Incorporation to develop a center for electronic commerce services. The joint Egyptian-American company will operate throughout the Middle East with an initial capital injection of $50 million, reported Al-Alam Al-Youm.
MIST is an Egyptian company specializing in the field of financial information services, the Internet and the local Cairo stock exchange. Its customers include banks, public companies, private investors, brokers, portfolio managers and insurance companies. The MIST network connects its users on privately leased lines to its corporate communications center in downtown Cairo.
Inter X has recently merged with NapaNet, which will allow it to extend the range of services it offers. Intex X has also partnered with a leading independent Internet domain name registration service. – (Albawaba-MEBG)
