Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) halved calling rates to Palestine for one month in sympathy with the victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
As of 30 September, all calls to Palestine will be rated at half the normal rates, as a contribution from Mobily to reinforce communication among friends and relatives of the victims of the aggression on Gaza. With such unprecedented rates, a voice minute to Palestine will cost only SR1 at all times.
The rate cut includes all of Mobily’s postpaid packages - Khatti, Khatti Plus, Mada, Blue Wave and Nejma – as well as postpaid packages Hala, Fallah and Blue Wave.
“Mobily wants to do whatever it can to help our brethren in Palestine during their latest ordeal,” said CEO Khalid Al Kaf.
He added that Mobily had taken a similar step during the war on Lebanon in the summer of 2006. “We shall do everything we can to support our brethren and friends anywhere,” said Al Kaf.
