ALBAWABA- Twitter CEO Elon Musk just announced that he would be changing the branding for the iconic Twitter bird to a futuristic-looking ''X'' logo.

Elon Musk tweeted "And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds" stating that he is serious about the rebranding.

Musk also gave users a hint of what the logo would look like in their phones' UI saying "Like this but X" and ''Paint It Black''

The CEO of Twitter has yet to provide details regarding the rebranding past the revamped logo.  Additionally, Elon said to expect more about the rebranding tomorrow the 24th of July if all goes well.

Musk's rebranding may have been motivated by Zuckerberg's Threads; after Elon took over Twitter on October 27, 2023, the platform underwent modifications.

He made the verification of Twitter accounts subscription-based and started limiting traffic to the platform by restricting verified and unverified accounts' usage of the platform.
