According to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper, the Chairperson of the Babel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Riyadh Sallal, called the new Iraqi government to support the local Economic Development Authority's project and to take advantage of the training trip to Polonia through which 20 Iraqi officials and specialists were trained.
The chairman called the government to provide guarantees for the borrowers from the bank for a short period of time until their projects start operations. The chairman also said that the authority's projects aim to improve the level of living through providing jobs, lessening migration from the village to the city and introducing modern technologies.
